Auriele has been a professional Métis dancer for over 14 years.

She is a registered Métis citizen and her Métis culture and heritage have become very important to her. She takes every opportunity she can to share them with others through dance; both by performing, as well as teaching some fancy dance moves to all those who are eager to learn.

Auriele began dancing with the Olivine Bousquet Métis Dancers in February 2010 (a part of the Oshawa Durham Region Métis Council)

Being a quick study, she started performing with the group as the fourth member just three weeks later.

Auriele is currently the only active dancer associated with the Oshawa Durham Métis Council.

She continues to perform and teach jigging many times each year.
